Anthony Joseph Saberniak

Anthony J. “Sock” Saberniak, 93, of Smithland passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021 at his residence.

Anthony was a retired riverboat mate from ACBI. He was a member of Lighthouse Pentecostal Church and Smithland Pentecostal Church.

Surviving is his wife, Sylvia Saberniak; four children, Anthony L. “Tony” Saberniak, Sylvia “Sis” Keeling, Edward Matt Saberniak, Maryann Moore; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, adopted children, and adopted grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Anton and Mathilda Saberniak; eight siblings; and one grandchild.
