Carl Farlane Ramage

June 1, 1942 – May 30, 2020

Carl Farlane Ramage was born June 1, 1942 to Carl and Helen Ramage in Cleveland, Ohio.  He was the middle child of Carl and Helen with an older sister Charlotte Ramage Dunaway and younger brother Judge Daniel Ramage.  He was raised in Burna, Kentucky.  The family moved to Orlando, Florida, where he graduated from Edgewater High School.  Farlane enlisted in the U.S. Navy and proudly served from 1960-1966.  After his discharge from the Navy, he worked for PanAm and ultimately BellSouth when he retired in 1998 after 25 years of service.  He met the love of his life Maura Lee in Orlando, Florida and had two children: a daughter Paunece Ramage Scull and a son Pren Augustus Ramage.

Farlane had many travels and saw the world, but Burna, Kentucky was always his home.  He had the privilege of passing quietly at home with his children by his side.

He is survived by his sister Charlotte Ramage Dunaway, his children Paunece (Kader) and Gus (Heidi), his four perfect granddaughters Eliara and Neana Ramage and Prudence and Waelyn Scull, numerous nieces and cousins and their families.

Graveside services with Military Honors will be Thursday, June 4, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Dyer Hill Cemetery, Salem, Kentucky.
