Carol Jean (Weatherington) Smith

Carol Jean Smith, 76, of Evansville, IN formerly of Livingston County passed away on Monday, October 28, 2019 at Bethel Manor.

Carol was a retired schoolteacher from the Livingston County Board of Education. She loved spending time with her family, traveling, and attending bluegrass festivals. She was a member of Smithland First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her two sons, Keith (Renee) Smith of Evansville, IN and Allen Smith from Tiline; one sister, Geraldine Scott of Reidland; four grandsons; one great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Smith; one sister, Vickie Carrico; and her parents, Grady and Ethel Weatherington.

Funeral services will be at 1:00pm on Friday, November 1, 2019 at Smith Funeral Chapel with Renee Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Ferguson Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family from 10:00am to service hour on Friday at the funeral home.
