Clinton O'Neal Smith

Clinton O'Neal Smith, 84, of Smithland, KY passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Baptist Health of Paducah.

Mr. Smith worked as a chemical operator for B.F. Goodrich.  He was a member of Ohio Valley Baptist Church for 43 years and also served as a deacon in the church.  He loved farming, carpentry work and traveling.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Thelma Smith of Smithland; one son, Michael Smith of Smithland; one daughter, Deborah Ramage and husband Mike of Smithland; four grandchildren, Garrick Ramage and wife Amy of Smithland, Wesley Smith and Wife Rebecca of Charleston, SC, Lauren Ramage and husband Steve of  Smithland and Logan Smith of Nashville, TN;   four great grandchildren, Ethan Ramage, Emerson Ramage, Selah Ramage and Wyatt Smith; one brother, Robert Smith and wife Clydene of Ledbetter; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one daughter-in-law, Dottie Smith and his parents, Auston and Narcie Smith.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Smith Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Terry Mitcheson officiating.  Burial will follow at Leeper Cemetery in Tiline.

Friends may visit the family from 5:00pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at the funeral home.
