Etta D. Combs, 83, of Grand Rivers passed away Tuesday at her residence.
She was a retired Property Valuation Administrator, a Kentucky Colonel and a long-time member of Corinth Baptist Church in Grand Rivers.
Surviving are three daughters, Bennetta Henderson of Grand Rivers, Nancy Ledford of Ledbetter and Lisa Morgan of Wickliffe; six grandchildren, Samantha West, Scott Dupriest, Trish Knapps, Jessica Hogue, John Henderson and David (T.J.) Ledford, as well as nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bennett L. Combs; her parents, Carolis and Bertie Heriges Richardson; three brothers, Dennis Richardson, Milton Richardson and Alvin Richardson; and one great-grandson, Joseph Lee Knapps.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Smith Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Corinth Cemetery in Grand Rivers.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and after 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Smith Funeral Chapel of Smithland is in charge of arrangements.
