Helen “Nana” Evans, 75, of Ledbetter passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Baptist Health Paducah.
Mrs. Evans was a former towboat cook for over 25 years. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving is her ex-husband and best friend, Carmel Evans of Paducah; one daughter, Karmelin (Michael) Arant of Ledbetter; two sons, Craig (Tina) Evans of Cadiz, Tony (Stacy) Evans of Paducah; one brother, Owen Rexroat of Indianapolis, IN; four grandchildren, Matthew (Chelsey) Evans of Ledbetter, Aaron Evans of Paducah, Austin Evans of Paducah, Rachel (Justin) Coursey of Paducah; two great-grandchildren, Ashlynn Evans of Ledbetter, and Jaymie Coursey of Paducah.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Leandra Kathleen Evans; one sister, Vonda Juarez; one brother, Ronnie Rexroat; and one great-grandson, Abel Coursey. Her parents were Owen Ishmael Rexroat and Marie C. Rexroat.
No services will be held per Mrs. Evans wishes.
