Helen Marie (Stewart) Ray

Helen Marie Ray, 81, of Smithland passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at Salem Spring Lake Nursing Home.

Helen was a homemaker and of the Methodist Faith.

Surviving is her son, David Ray of Smithland; four sisters, Shirley (Harvey) Pipes, Martha Wallace, Earlene Rice, and Brenda Joyce.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Kenneth Ray; her parents, Barney and Thelma Stewart; and two siblings, James Cosby and Connie Chittenden.

Funeral services will be at 1:00pm on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Smith Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Jones officiating. Burial will follow at McMurray Chapel Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family from 11:00am to service hour on Wednesday at the funeral home.
