John Morrow

John "Russell" Morrow, 67, of Tiline died at 12:57 p.m. Thursday, February 19, 2015, at his home.

He retired from Gerdau, formerly North Star Steel, was a U.S. Air Force Vietnam veteran and was active in Sugar Creek Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Sally A. Morrow; two sons, Ryan Morrow of Tiline and Rodney Morrow of Houston; one brother, Roger D. Morrow of Tiline; one sister, Katherine L. Johnson of Magnolia, Texas; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. His parents were Charles W. and Nellie L. Ricketts Morrow.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 24, 2015, at Smith Funeral Chapel in Smithland with the Rev. Fred Lowrance officiating. Burial will follow in Leeper Cemetery.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Monday, February 23, 2015, at the funeral home.
