Larry Tingle

Larry Wayne Tingle, 71, of Smithland, Ky. passed away Friday December 12th, 2014 at his home. He worked as a chief engineer on the Prairie Dawn towboat. He also ran a local nursery business and was an avid fisherman. He was also a member of Smithland Second Baptist Church.
He is survived by his daughter, Cristal (David) Harney; one sister, Shirley (Wilbert) Oder, four grand daughters, Kala (Aaron) Gray, Ashley Cooke, Emily and Taylor Baker; two great grandsons, Kylan and Keegan; and two close friends, Betty Tingle and Kenny Paris.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sterling and Mary Gladys Welsh Tingle; two sisters, Doris Ogburn and Wanda Lovejoy, and one son, Michael Tingle.
A memorial service will be held at the Second Baptist Church on Monday December 15th, 2014 at 4:30pm with Rev. Fred Lowrance officiating. Friends may visit until the service hour at the church.
