Lila Guess

Lila Guess, 79, of Smithland died Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Baptist Health of Paducah.

Mrs. Guess was a member of Mint Springs Baptist Church. She worked for the Smithland Co-op and retired from the Smithland Pharmacy.

Surviving are her husband, Rev. Willie Guess of Smithland; one son, Eddie Guess of Smithland; one daughter, Debbie Guess of Calvert City; two sisters, Margie Anglin of Tiline and Jane Gordon of Smithland; one grandchild, Addie Marie Guess of Smithland; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clifton Crouch; her mother, Ida Mabel Cruce; and one sister, Doris Anglin.

Services will be Friday at 1:00 pm at Smith Funeral Chapel, with Rev. CC Brasher officiating. Burial will follow at Groves Chapel Cemetery in Tiline, KY.

Visitation will be after 5:00 pm on Thursday, at the funeral home.
