Martha Stokes

Martha Stokes, 67, of Grand Rivers died Sunday at Western Baptist Hospital.
Surviving are two sons, Shane Stokes of Smithland and Steve Stokes of Grand Rivers; one brother, Billy Buck Thompson of Almo; one sister, Nell Jones of Smithland; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Stokes; her mother, Gladys Thompson; one brother; and one sister.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Smith Funeral Chapel in Smithland. Burial will be at Groves Chapel Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today and after 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
