Mary Gaines
July 1, 1926 — February 23, 2012
Christine Gaines, 85 of Tiline passed away at 4:30 pm Thursday, February 23, 2012 at her residence.
She was a dedicated mother and grandmother, and a member of Cumberland Valley General Baptist Church.
Surviving are three sons, Thomas (Jane) Gaines III of Murray, Danny (Carolyn) Gaines of Paducah, and Lanny (Aleta Faye) Gaines of Smithland; one special niece, Wava Catiller of Tiline; seven grandchildren, Tracy, Shad, Brent and Robbie Gaines, Krista Albrecht, and Danielle and Derek Gaines; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband and the love of her life, T.B. Gaines Jr.; three sons, Bob, Terry and Jeff Gaines; and several brothers and sisters.
Services will be Sunday at 2:00pm at Smith Funeral Chapel in Smithland, with C.C. and David Brasher officiating. Burial will follow at Tiline Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday from 10:00am until 2:00pm at the funeral home.
