Mary Jean Guess

Mary Jean Guess, 89, of Smithland passed away on Sunday June 21, 2020 at Livingston County Hospital.

She is survived by two daughters, Janice Barrett and Marletta Evans; one son, Tearle Guess; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Vernon Sunderland and Mary Ethel Scarbough; one child; and five siblings.

Funeral services will be at 2:00pm on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Smithland United Methodist Church with the Rev. Joel Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Smithland Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday June 24, 2020 at the Smithland United Methodist Church in Smithland.
