Mary Mayhugh
b. August 11, 1921
Biography Mary Elizabeth Mayhugh, 89, of Smithland passed away Sunday at Calvert City Convalescent Center. Mrs. Mayhugh was a former employee at Owens Cleaners and a member at Mint Springs Baptist Church in Tiline.
Surviving are her son Danny (Mary) Mayhugh of Smithland; five daughters, Barbara Reynolds of Paducah, Anita Ferell of Paducah Bessie (Don) Jones of Murray, Betty (Malcolm) Couch of Paducah, Marthettea (Jim) Stout of Paducah; fifteen Grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Mayhugh; her parents, Harry and Etta Dunlap Sexton; one son, Leonard Michael Mayhugh; one daughter, Shirley Ann Rednour; two brothers, Daniel Sexton, David Sexton; and one grandchild, Dianna Mayhugh Runge.
Servces will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Smith Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery with Rev. James A. Mayhugh officiating.
Friends may call after 5:00 PM Tuesday and after 9:00 AM Wednesday at the funeral home.
