Nevada Rue Freeman Lynch, 19, passed away peacefully Saturday morning at his home in Paducah, Ky.
He triumphed in life with many victories each day. Despite a number of lifelong health issues, he had a happy and full life and displayed love and kindness to everyone he encountered. He was a champion of perseverance and all that is truly important in life. He enjoyed music, watching television, computer games, going to school and interacting with his family and friends.
He was a student at Lone Oak High School.
Nevada is survived by his mother, Beverly Burns Lynch of Paducah; his father, Roger Dale Lynch of Paducah; a half-brother, Chance Lynch of Ledbetter; his grandmothers, Prudence McKinney of Iuka and Edna Lynch of Evansville, Ind.; his aunt, Amy Williams of Mesa, Ariz.; and his cousin, Carl Short of Mesa, Ariz.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Rue Burns of Smithland, and great-grandparents, Hugh and Carlene McKinney of Iuka and Willie and Claris Burns of Burna.
A service celebrating his life will be announced at a later time.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Dream Factory or Lourdes Hospice.
Smith Funeral Chapel in Smithland is in charge of arrangements.
