Sammie Brooks King

Sammie B. King, 83, of Calvert City died on Friday, October 26, 2018 at his residence.

Mr. King was retired from General Motors Company.

Surviving are his two sons, David King of California and Paul King of Calvert City; two step-granddaughters, and three step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce King; one son, Danny King; and one sister. His parents were Elvie and Ruby King

Memorial services will be at 10:00am on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Smith Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jack Russell officiating. Burial will follow at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.

Smith Funeral Chapel of Smithland is in charge of arrangements.
