Thomas Montgomery

Thomas Leland Montgomery, 75 of Benton died at 7:10am Friday at his residence.
Mr. Montgomery was a retired meat cutter, a US Army veteran, and a member of the Sanctuary Church of God.
Surviving are his wife, Alice Jayne Montgomery; two sons, Randy Montgomery of Benton and Rickie Montgomery of Burna; two daughters, Renita "Sissy" Montgomery of Tiline and Becky Hageman of Dexter; two sisters, Phyllis Ann Gipson and Ethel Vada Boone, both of Tiline; 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one son, Roger Glenn Montgomery; one sister, and one great granddaughter. His parents were T. E. and Wilma Montgomery.
Services will be at 2:00 pm Monday at Smith Funeral Chapel in Smithland, with Rev. Albert Gaboriault officiating. Burial will follow at Leeper Cemetery in Tiline.
Visitation will be Sunday after 5 pm at the funeral home.
