Virginia (Gray) Brewington

Virginia Brewington, 88, of Smithland passed away peacefully in the presence of all her children, on Sunday, June 24, 2018, at Springlake Health and Rehabilitation Center in Salem, Kentucky.

Virginia is survived by three daughters, Shirley (Randall) Riley of Smithland, Angela Downs of Salem, and Gina (Todd) Larimer of Calvert City; three sons, Timothy (Lisa) Downs of Grand Rivers, Dale (Lisa) Brewington of Paducah, and Kirk Brewington of Benton.

Virginia also leaves behind eight grandchildren, Chris Downs of Smithland, Quisana (Rob) Turner of Largo, Florida, Amanda (Wes) Vinson of Paducah, Blake (Christy ) Riley of Grand Rivers, Dana (Ryan) Poole of Benton, Drew Downs of Grand Rivers, Adam Downs of Grand Rivers, and Morgan Brewington of Paducah; eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Virginia was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Frank Brewington, one daughter, Jan Crouch; four brothers and two sisters. Her parents were Henry and Elizabeth Gray.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Smith Funeral Chapel in Smithland.  Burial will follow at Smithland Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family from 11:00am til service hour on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at the funeral home.
