Wanda Frances (Jones) Doom

Wanda Doom, 86, of Smithland died Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Baptist Health Paducah.

Mrs. Doom was a retired bus driver from the Livingston County School District and member of Calvary Baptist Church.  In her free time, she loved making quilts, playing boards games and cards, and visiting with her friends and family.

She is survived by her husband, Herbert Doom; one son, Terry Doom (Penny) of Smithland, Kentucky; one daughter, Karen Hanna (Jeff) of Princeton and one sister Mildred Barnhill; five grandchildren, Jacqueline, Ashley, Kayla, Kendra, Ashley; fourteen great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Kermit Doom; one brother, Robert Jones Jr.; four sisters, Vinus Jones, Inez Sewton, Alois Mitchell, and Ocellia Baker; and her parents, Albert and Gussie Jones

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, February 4, 2019 at Smith Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Leeper Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family from 11:00am to service hour on Monday at the funeral home
