William Buddy Joiner, 79, of Smithland passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.
Mr. Joiner was a retired employee of BF Goodrich, a Korean Veteran, and a member of The Potters House Baptist Worship Center in Livingston County.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Joiner of Smithland; two sons, Eddie Joiner of Grand Rivers, and Mike (Ellen) Joiner of Smithland; one daughter. Pamela (Chip) Brown of Owensboro; one step-daughter, Teresa (Jerome) Alsobrook of Tiline; one step-son, Rock (Sue) Campbell of Grand Rivers; two brothers, Elvis Bugs Joiner of Smithland, and Russell Goat Joiner of Kuttawa; two sisters, Juette Day of Franklin TN, and Mildred Powell of Paducah; five grandsons, William Joiner of Paducah, Micah (Ansley) Joiner of Ledbetter, Lucas Joiner of Smithland, Derek Brown of Nashville, TN, Dustin Brown of Owensboro; four step-grandchildren, Brandon Campbell of Smithland, Mark Campbell of Smithland, Adam Alsobrook of Tiline, and Erica Alsobrook of Tiline; and one great-granddaughter, Victoria Joiner of Burna.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Jack Joiner and one sister, Bernadette Joiner. His parents were James and Estelle Jones Joiner.
Friends may call from 5:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. Friday February 8, 2013 at Smith Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will be at 12:00p.m. Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Smith Funeral Chapel, with Bro. Fred Lowrance and Bro. Harold Council officiating. Burial will follow at Smithland Cemetery.
